El análisis coste-beneficio aplicado al medioambiente: repaso metodológico, críticas y problemática asociada

Análise custo-benefício tem emergido como uma das metodologias mais utilizadas para a avaliação de políticas e projetos ambientais, mais quando são utilizadas nos processos legislativos e de decisão das instituições públicas. O objetivo final da ACB ambiental deve ser determinar o melhor uso dos recursos públicos, embora a sua aplicaçãonão é um processo trivial. O conhecimento profundo das diversas etapas envolvidas na metodologia e os problemas que possam surgir durante a sua execução parecem essenciais para sua correta aplicação. O objetivo final deste artigo é, justamente, aprofundar a metodologia.
