Abstract

Environmentalcost-benefit analysis has emerged as one of the most widely used methodologies in policy and project analysis, with many governments applying it in their decision-making procedures and laws. The final aim of environmental CBA must be to determine the optimal path to use the public resourcesalthough undertaking a full CBA is not a simple process. The best way to apply this methodology starts in studying and analysing the different steps that must be undertaken while carrying an environmental CBA. Increasing this knowledge is the main objective of this paper.
