Simulador ecográfico: utilidad como herramienta de formación para la infiltración de toxina botulínica ecoguiada

Resumen

Para realizar inyecciones de toxina botulínica mediante ultrasonido, se requiere una amplia formación y experiencia. Basándonos en el aprendizaje electrónico y la aplicación de nuevas tecnologías en la formación médica, nuestro objetivo fue desarrollar una plataforma para la formación médica virtual a través de un simulador de ultrasonido. Nuestra aplicación es compatible con Microsoft Windows y Macintosh. Su desarrollo se realizó utilizando las plataformas de programación Visual C++, Qt y XML. El diseño del programa se dividió en tres partes: funciones de acceso, visualización y matemáticas. Nuestra herramienta tecnológica para la formación médica permite la adquisición de conocimientos y habilidades en ecografía e inyección mediante un entorno virtual dinámico e interactivo que posibilita la realización de exploraciones ecográficas sin la presencia física de un paciente.
