Resumo

Este artigo é uma pequena pesquisa realizada nos seminários de Relações Internacionais do programa de doutorado em História, Estudos de Segurança e Defesa. O objetivo do trabalho é destacar o papel da propaganda nos conflitos da era contemporânea, particularmente durante as duas Guerras Mundiais. A propaganda, desenvolvida durante os dois grandes conflitos do século XX como uma verdadeira "arma" e instrumento da política governamental nas relações internacionais, aperfeiçoou as técnicas de "gestão de notícias" e hoje é uma verdadeira e apreciada "arte" aplicada para orientar a opinião pública em favor das decisões governamentais.
