The Crop-Livestock-Forest (ILPF) integration diversifies production and allows for greater biodiversity, generating synergistic effects between the different components of the agroecosystem. Eucalyptus is widely used in forestry and has been studied as an option for a tree component in ILPF systems. Thus, in the context of the ILPF, practices that optimize the nutritional management of eucalyptus aiming at sustainability and obtaining information about its productive capacity must be discussed and elucidated. In addition, the sustainability of the different production systems is related to their carbon storage capacity, which should provide increases or maintenance of soil organic matter content and the mitigation of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the contribution of eucalyptus to carbon storage in ILPF systems. For these purposes, different studies published in the international scientific literature were investigated with the aim of collecting information about the nutritional management and productive capacity of eucalyptus and its contribution to carbon storage in ILPF systems, aiming at the sustainability of the ecosystem.
